Have you ever felt your heart yearn to be someplace other than where you currently are? Well that's how I feel about Edinburgh, Scotland. It's my homeland and I know that I probably have very distant cousins that still live there. I even have an ancestor,
Alexander Nasmyth, who painted Robert Burns' portrait that still hangs in the
National Galleries of Scotland. It's one of those places that I know if I visited, I would never want to leave.
With that in mind, when I came across
Lizzy Stewart's images the other day, all I could say was wow! If this is Edinburgh, then I need to get there a lot sooner than I had planned. Lizzy captures it beautifully and shows the romantic side of the city very well. For now I'll just get lost in these images and hope that one day soon I'll get to see these scenes in person. Enjoy!
