Yellow Owl Workshop

I saw these fun postcards last week while on vacation over at the Yellow Owl Workshop. Wouldn't they be the perfect set to buy for the Benevolent Postcard Society group that I am involved with? I will definitely have to put these on my list of postcards to purchase and send out. There is also a lovely set of France postcards as well!

Pin It Forward

I just wanted to stop by and quickly let you know about a project that I am participating in. Pin It Forward is a new blogging series that sfgirlbybay has started in conjunction with a new online photo tagging site, Pinterest. I have signed up for this new series and one of the perks in participating is that all of the bloggers get to be guinea pigs in trying the new Pinterest site out. Blog Under Construction

The blog will be under construction this week, so I won't be posting much if at all. Since I have the week off from my regular job, I will be working on a blog redesign, so if you see anything strange happening, that is why. You might also notice the layout looking odd or different pictures in weird places, but not to worry! I am hoping to get this done all next week so that I can start afresh on the 24th. Wedding Fun + Craziness

I can't wait to spend tons of time with three of my favorite people this weekend. Here we are after an orchestra concert back in college, just a few years ago. It seems like forever since I've seen any of them and I'm so excited to be spending the weekend in celebration of Sara's marriage. Be back next week sometime!

Earlier in the week, I happened upon a gorgeous wedding photographed by Parris Whittingham of New York. I couldn't help but share this shot of the bride's grandmother prior to the ceremony. Doesn't she have the best outfit on? I LOVE IT! I hope you have a great weekend full of fun!

Joules Traveling Outfit

I start my vacation this week and I can't wait! I am traveling up to the Chicago/Northern Indiana area for my friend Sara's wedding (remember her Save-the-Date postcards and Wedding Invitation?). In honor of my vacation, I decided to put together a great ensemble fit for travel. These pieces all come from the British clothing company, Joules. I recently found Joules via my UK Country Living Magazine and have been coveting everything they offer. Hydraneas in Bloom

I took a couple of quick shots this weekend of the pale green hydrangeas left from last weekend's baby shower. They were on their last leg and starting to wilt. They were so pretty in the morning light on Saturday that I just had to capture it. Hope you had a great Mother's Day and a wonderful weekend. Did you do anything fun?

Beachy Keen

I saw these image yesterday over on darling dexter and thought they would be perfect for the warm weather we are having here in the south. It's supposed to get up to 90 today but 'cool' down to 70 for the weekend. I'm so glad the weekend is finally here, aren't you? Do you have any plans for the weekend? My brother and I are going to cook lunch for my mom on Sunday for Mother's Day, but other than that, I am getting ready for my friend wedding next weekend. I hope you have as relaxing a time this weekend as these ladies seem to be having!
