Yellow Wedding

Today I found this wedding via Style Me Pretty and fell in love with it. I love the combination of yellow with the succulents in her arrangements and all of the creativity behind it. Enjoy!

Orange

I've been really inspired by the color orange lately and it's getting me more and more excited for summer to be here. Enjoy these great photographs and I hope they provide you with some inspiration too!

Amy Butler's Studio

When it comes to pretty fabrics and great sewing projects, I don't look any further than Amy Butler. Amy and her husband David started their company, Art in the Midwest in Ohio in 1992. Since then, their business has taken off and Amy has been one of the most featured artists I've seen recently. I love all of her fabrics because of their bold botanical patterns and vibrant colors. She also has a great studio space in her house that she shares with David and below are some shots I found of their creative space.

My Small Space Garden

I mentioned awhile ago that I would put pictures up of my small space garden. Well, now that I have a fully functioning digital camera of my own, here you go! I have a selection of herbs, vegetables and flowers that will soon be growing in my garden. My hydrangea already has buds popping up and I am looking forward to having some gorgeous bunches of flowers soon. Here are a few pictures of the start of my garden.

Peony Arrangments

Look at these gorgeous peony arrangements that I saw over on Design*Sponge this week. I love them because they give me inspiration for my cousin's wedding coming up in a couple of weeks. We are using peonies for her arrangements too.

Happy Tape

I have recently discovered Japanese washi paper tape. It comes in all of these great colors and for a while you could only purchase through sellers on etsy. Well, a website has now opened that sells this tape in the US! Happy Tape opened up in the past couple of months and I want to buy every roll they have. I think I'll have to settle for a box of spring pack. Aren't these the best for craft projects?

Hammerpress Invites

I saw these Hammerpress invites last week over at 100 Layer Cake and absolutely love them. If I ever get married, I'm modeling mine after these!

Have a great weekend!

This American Life poster

I don't know about you, but I'm a big fan of NPR's This American Life (TAL) and when I heard they were doing a LIVE broadcast in theatres I was so excited to go and see Ira Glass on the big screen (April 23rd).

While I was researching getting tickets, I noticed on their website that they had special screen print posters made in honor of the show. The posters are done by artist Travis Bone and I've been looking at his website and he is a great graphic artist. The TAL website also has a link to show Travis printing the posters in his workshop.
