The Big Day

I'm back! Had a great time in Indiana and a wonderful time preparing for the wedding.

The wedding was gorgeous and I can't wait to show you some of the projects we did for it. Since I'm getting settled back into things, here are a few shots from the wedding by Jonathan Frey, the photographer. I love Jonathan's work and can't wait to show you more of it as we get more pictures from the big day. Enjoy!

The Venice Simplon-Orient Express

In honor of National Train Day this past Saturday, May 9, I wanted to share with you my favorite train, the Venice Simplon-Orient Express. It has been in service since 1883 and is still one of the most magnificent trains in existence today. My goal one day is to go and take the trip from London to Venice and re-live my favorite book (excluding the murder part)!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day mom! You are as gorgeous now as when dad married you!

Back Home Again

Tomorrow I leave for Indiana for my cousin's wedding next week. It is very exciting to get to go home to Indiana to see my family and friends who I haven't seen in quite a while. I probably won't be able to post much next week, if any, because we'll be so busy with wedding preparations and visiting everyone. I leave you today with a few shots of my home state. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Yellow Wedding

Today I found this wedding via Style Me Pretty and fell in love with it. I love the combination of yellow with the succulents in her arrangements and all of the creativity behind it. Enjoy!

Orange

I've been really inspired by the color orange lately and it's getting me more and more excited for summer to be here. Enjoy these great photographs and I hope they provide you with some inspiration too!

Amy Butler's Studio

When it comes to pretty fabrics and great sewing projects, I don't look any further than Amy Butler. Amy and her husband David started their company, Art in the Midwest in Ohio in 1992. Since then, their business has taken off and Amy has been one of the most featured artists I've seen recently. I love all of her fabrics because of their bold botanical patterns and vibrant colors. She also has a great studio space in her house that she shares with David and below are some shots I found of their creative space.

My Small Space Garden

I mentioned awhile ago that I would put pictures up of my small space garden. Well, now that I have a fully functioning digital camera of my own, here you go! I have a selection of herbs, vegetables and flowers that will soon be growing in my garden. My hydrangea already has buds popping up and I am looking forward to having some gorgeous bunches of flowers soon. Here are a few pictures of the start of my garden.

Peony Arrangments

Look at these gorgeous peony arrangements that I saw over on Design*Sponge this week. I love them because they give me inspiration for my cousin's wedding coming up in a couple of weeks. We are using peonies for her arrangements too.
